This interactive event brings together the Society of Professional Journalists Fort Worth chapter and Greater Fort Worth Chapter of PRSA to show what makes a story pitch work. Hear directly from SPJ Fort Worth journalists as they evaluate pitches, gain actionable media-relations insights and connect with fellow communicators.

Dave Lieber, Watchdog for The Dallas Morning News; Mede Nix, professional editor; and Brian Kendall, executive editor for Fort Worth Magazine, will represent SPJ Fort Worth as panelists.

The program also includes PRSA’s annual member meeting, with chapter business aimed at helping guide the organization into 2027. The Texas Tech University College of Media & Communication Graduate Program sponsors the event.
