Lights, Cameras, Tex-Mex!

GFW PRSA is spicing it up at Joe T. Garcia’s for its last 2011 program. A few outstanding members will be honored, then Dani Dufresne with Studios 121 will give a show and tell on the increasingly significant role of audio-visual in communications planning — what’s new, what works and what doesn’t, and how a-v is being used to augment news reporting.

With more than nine years in the business, Dufresne has worked in almost every aspect from script and creative development to postproduction. A film graduate of Columbia College Hollywood, she has partnered with top clients such as Universal Video, CBS, Summit Entertainment, Sony Home Video, Coca-Cola, Frito-Lay and the Country Music Awards.

Time & date: 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14
